We make delightful pouches and bags using environmentally sensible materials. All of our bags and pouches are carefully handmade in Los Angeles by Vanessa Ordaz, with help from her furry pup assistants - albeit, they mostly just snooze. 8% of each order is donated to a non-profit organization that helps children in under-served communities. The current organization we're donating to is A Place Called Home.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We carefully choose materials with a low environmental impact for our pouches and bags. Duck cloth canvas (a cotton derived fabric) and second-hand textiles are two of our favorites!
Why, you may ask?
Cotton fabrics are naturally sourced - from a plant, in fact- which means they’re free of harmful chemicals, and are easily biodegradable. Using second-hand materials means we’re saving perfectly good garments from entering a landfill, and reducing the amount of waste in manufacturing new ones.
About the Owner and Designer
Vanessa Ordaz brings a charming, happy-modern aesthetic to Cheeky Fawn, which she founded in 2015 as a full-time college student. She received a Bachelor of Science in Management at the University of California, Merced, and is now working full-time doing what she loves — creating magic, while enduring the occasional needle-pricked finger, at Cheeky Fawn.
